Empowering meritorious rural students
Unchi Udaan identifies high-performing students from Hindustan Zinc’s neighbourhood schools and provides intensive coaching, mentorship, and guidance to prepare them for admission into India’s top engineering institutions. The aim is to ensure no talent is left behind due to social constraints.

- Government Engineering College Allotments: Students successfully gained admission into reputable engineering colleges.
- Board exam excellence: 10 students scored above 90% and every student passed in the first division.
- Career placements: 27 students from earlier batches placed, average package 9–10 LPA, while the highest being 21 LPA.
- Alumni engagement: Former students actively engage with the programme, sharing experiences and mentoring current batches.
- Mentorship & coaching: Four-year in-house coaching programme ensures academic rigour and personal development for selected students.
